These dinner sets consist of four pieces: a 10" plate, a 8" plate, a 6" bowl, and a wine goblet.  All are individually hand-carved from banded onyx (BO).  Inside out, all surfaces are polished to mirror finish.  Before you see one, you might not believe stonework can be so delicate.  
     Please note that they are not just artwork to be displayed and admired in your dish cabinet, although they have every right to be there.  They are carved from renounced, semiprecious onyx with a hardness rating of 7, the same as quartz.  So they are very resistant to ordinary use, and will not develop scratches.  However, please do not used them for acidic foods like salad or lemonade.
