Here are the last six teapots in our exclusive miniature soapstone teapot set #1.  The size shown here is about double of their actual sizes.
These smalls wonders are individually handcrafted from soapstone by skilled artisians in an eastern province in China.  Teapots and other stone sculptures are traditional artforms in this area for thousands of years.  They are highly delicate and detailed, yet they are functional.  Their lids open and their spouts pour.  On each teapot a classical poem is engraved on the polished outer surface.  These poems dates back to Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) when the poetry was at its peak.
A stone piece is different from the other, it is understandable that the actual size, proportion, color, texture and zoning may vary slightly from set to set.  The designs might also be slightly modified over time.
